Jeremy Crawford is a proud native of West Virginia. He is a graduate of The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) in Glasgow, Scotland where he earned his Master’s Degree in Classical and Contemporary Acting. While at RCS Jeremy studied in London at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre where he took to the boards as 'Leontes' in a selected performance from The Winter's Tale for Globe Education. Upon graduating from RCS Jeremy worked as a professional actor throughout the UK.
A few highlights include portraying the title role of ‘Lear’ in Glasgow’s Shakespeare in the City production of King Lear as well as being an original cast member of a new piece by Scottish award winning playwright Douglas Maxwell called The Fever Dream: Southside; which toured theatres in London, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Jeremy also had the good fortune of working with acclaimed director Mirjam Landa in bringing the English language debut of the hit Czech musical Desire to the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival in 2010 as 'Oscar'.
Jeremy continued his Czech relations by portraying the role of ‘The Good Angel’ in Blood, Love, and Rhetoric’s production of Doctor Faustus at The Divadlo Inspirace in Prague, Czech Republic. In front of the camera Jeremy was known as the central character, ''Mick', in a widely successful Skittles advertisement campaign for Academy Films under the direction of Jakob Marky. Other credits include roles in short films such as Oscar, Strings Attached, and The Carer (winner for Best Director, Neil Hartop, at the 2010 Edinburgh 48hour Film Festival).
Upon returning to the US Jeremy began work on The Heart of Robin Hood (directed by Gisli Orn Gardarsson) at The American Repertory Theater in the role of 'Little John'. Jeremy was also recognized for his role as 'Smee' in Peter Pan (directed by Mace Archer) at The Arizona Broadway Theater with the Best Supporting Actor in A Musical award for the 2014 Broadway World Phoenix Awards. Jeremy currently resides in Toronto, CAN where he works as an actor (ACTRA, AEA and CAEA) and trains as an aerialist.
He can see him now on Season 1 of Titans (airing online on DC Universe and internationally on Netflix) and as the face of Five Below stores throughout the US. You'll be able to catch him again on Netflix, late in 2019, in the upcoming live action adaptation of the best-selling Polish novel series (also a fantasy video game trilogy of the same name) The Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski.
